Discussion around what the problem is and what the solution should be.

HDR gateway is developing an API for management of dataset metadata.

We want to be able to manage this from RDMP,.

We should be able to associate a dataset with RDMP assets.

We should be able to create/manage the HDR metadata from these assets.

We should be able to automatically describe the data (tables, columns, descriptions etc)

We should be able to version the datasets from RDMP and associate different extractions/cohorts etc with them.

Given an extractions sql code, can we decompose this to backfill the source catalogues & cohorts?
