 👋 Introduction

The HIC User Group (HUG) is open to all users of our Trusted Research Environment (TRE) and will advocate secure access to data, open science, and community building. The primary purpose of the group is to provide a positive engagement space to advance the utility of the TRE and build collective expertise between HIC as TRE providers, and all TRE users (whether academic or clinical research, business or otherwise).

HUG monthly meetings will be held at Ninewells and online as well. The Terms of Reference are set out here and will be reviewed to ensure the functioning of the group.

The meetings will use a hybrid format with both in-person and online, or just on-line. These will be chosen depending on the needs of the group.
