Below are instructions for how to complete this mandatory IG training, as well as further recommended training courses to add to your continuing professional development. The MRC “Research, GDPR and confidentiality - what you really need to know” course should take no more than 1 hour to complete.
HIC will accept a valid certificate (i.e. within the last 3 years) from the ONS Safe Researcher training course as an alternative to the MRC training course. As with the MRC course, please send your certificate to us at HICSupport@dundee.ac.uk .
